Women’s College Hospital Foundation
Kathy Hay became president and chief executive officer of Women’s College Hospital Foundation in June 2014. She has spent the past 15 years driving forward partnerships between community and the not-for-profit innovation agenda.
Kathy returns to the healthcare, research and education sector, where she was chief executive officer at the Credit Valley Hospital Foundation, associate vice president advancement at the University of Guelph and executive director of advancement at the University of Toronto/Mississauga. Most recently she held the role of chief development officer at the Art Gallery of Ontario where she was instrumental in growing the education and community programs and evolving the arts and culture agenda for our province.
Kathy brings highly successful campaign experience and outstanding leadership in the not-for-profit sector to Women’s College Hospital Foundation, with an unwavering commitment to the mission of Women’s College Hospital. Women’s College Hospital is Canada’s leading ambulatory care hospital for women and women’s health research.
Prior to her not-for-profit sector roles, Kathy was the co-founder of the Canadian Foundation in Sao Paulo, Brazil and held various management posts in the financial services sector in the GTA for CIBC and National Bank of Canada.
In keeping with her deep commitment to community, Kathy is on the Board of Directors for Imagine Canada and a member of the Mayor’s Task Force on Poverty & Homelessness in Mississauga. She also sits on the National Council of Foundation Executives for the Conference Board of Canada.
