WCHF inaugurates annual Trailblazer Award with Colleen Moorehead as recipient

Women’s College Hospital Foundation is thrilled to announce that Colleen Moorehead is the recipient of the inaugural WCHF Trailblazer Award. Colleen Moorehead, Chief Client Officer at Osler, Hoskin, and Harcourt, is one of Canada’s most recognized and celebrated corporate leaders and a long-term supporter of Women’s College.

“Colleen is known in the WCH community for being a tireless champion of the hospital and foundation who has galvanized support and funding for the hospital’s transformational work. I couldn’t think of anyone more fitting to be the first recipient of the WCHF Trailblazer Award” says Jennifer Bernard, President & CEO of Women’s College Hospital Foundation.

In 2011, Colleen Co-founded the Women for Women’s Gala, which has raised over $4 million for Women’s College Hospital’s bold vision to revolutionize the healthcare system for women and for all. As a member of the 100Women initiative at Women’s College Hospital Foundation, Colleen remains at the forefront of those fighting for health equity and the transformation of the healthcare system.

The WCHF Trailblazer Award celebrates a member of the Women’s College Hospital community that has had a measurable impact on the hospital, foundation and community as a champion for equity. The award recognizes a visionary individual that is committed to being a champion for others and creating a more inclusive healthcare system and society.
In her role as Chief Client Officer at Osler Hoskin & Harcourt LLP, Colleen is responsible for implementing Osler’s client-focused business development strategy. She was co-founder of E-Trade Canada and has extensive experience building successful companies and brands. A most respected business leader with senior management experience in financial services, technology, business and web-based services, Colleen has held a variety of corporate leadership positions and has a deep understanding of business development strategy in the services sector. She has been recognized with the 2015 Catalyst Canada Honours – Business Leader Recognizing Champions Award and the Canadian Marketing Hall of Legends, Business Builder 2010 Award.
