Women for Women’s 2021: Celebrating a milestone anniversary with impact

2021-03-09 4:04:33 PM

On Monday, March 8 - International Women’s Day - over 1,800 women and their allies gathered virtually to celebrate an extraordinary milestone:  the 10th annual Women for Women’s – Women’s College Hospital Foundation’s signature fundraising gala. Together, we raised our voices for women’s health and united in our shared vision of creating a healthier, more equitable world for everyone.

We are thrilled to announce that the event raised an incredible $560,225 to advance equitable access to healthcare for women and for all.

Of that amount, over $157,000 was raised during the event for The Emily Stowe Society, bringing total funding for this trailblazing program to over $1 million! With this support, Women’s College Hospital can continue to engage, retain and advance the next generation of bright young researchers from underrepresented communities through scholarships, paid internships and mentorship, and help to ensure a more equitable future of healthcare for everyone.
